Goddess in the machine has a very interesting approach. Not only Andra, wake up 3 thousand years later than predicted, but nothing as it should be. She wakes up in a cave in the middle of a desert, not the cryogenic her parents told her about, not robot. The villagers around the cave worship her as a goddess and do not speak english. The language has evolve, the villagers have regressed and the planet is dying. For Andra to stay alive, she has to continue to play the role of a goddess with the hip of a basic robot, called Angel and a young prince called Shade. He is using her so he can regain his throne.
