I really like the premise of this story, and at it's core... I can feel a real heart-throbbing story pressing against the wordy, written-ese of description and inner dialogue... I found myself skimming past to find dialogue and action ... And just had to stop reading because it wasn't fair to waste precious time.
I'm sure there's literary readers that enjoy being fed by a silver spoon of on-the-nose prose. But that's not me, unfortunately. And I can not give my stamp of approval.
