With a story reminiscent of Aurora Rising, which I absolutely loved, I was immediately swept into a sci-fi world that was realistically written and intriguing. The author gives Andra an authentic and relatable voice as well as insight into what it would be like to wake up in a strange place, among people you don't know who want to worship you. The question of what really went wrong with her mission is one I want to find the answer to. I think the beautiful cover perfectly illustrates Andra's character and her dilemma, and I can't wait to find out what happens next.
