Holy cow! The world-building so far in this book is excellent - giving a good sense of place while still being foreign and confusing. I loved the dialect and how the chapters switched it up depending on whose point of view we are getting (even with the third-person narrator this is done exceptionally well). The fact that it's an alternate version of English so we can understand but it still feels alien - loved it.
I can't wait to read more about the pockets, how Andra is supposed to save the planet, and what the hell is going on here! This one is going on my to-read pile whether or not I win a copy.
