So far, I think that Goddess in the Machine is setting up a very interesting dystopia/sci-fi setting, and I feel like I understand the world that Andra has described as the future earth. I think that it's very interesting to see how she, as someone used to extremely advanced tech, is interpreting the underdeveloped world around her, and how the people of the planet have interpreted the strange machines around them.
So far I think that this book is really interesting and has a good "hook."
