Just from the first 61 pages, I can tell this book is going to be one wild ride. What better way to spend quarantine, than with something entirely different than anything else out there? This book has an unique voice, and I love that. It will stand out in my memory, not unlike the work of writers like Jeff Vandermeer and Nicky Drayden, and I feel like this is going to end up in my favorites list. If you're looking for something different, in the sea of sameness that is YA fiction right now, this is it.
