Interesting
Ghost Fire was my first experience with the Courtney series by Wilbur Smith. Feeling a little lost without reading the previous novels, I felt like this novel was written well. With the exception it felt like the daughter could of been written better without the focus on her beauty and sexuality. In other words, there could have been a bit more to her character. Plus there seemed to be a lot of sex and violence in the book. I don't have an issue normally, just seemed a lot for a novel. That being said, I thought it was an interesting book and I am looking forward to reading the past novels and reading any future Courtney family novels.
