Ghost Fire will be a permanant fixture on my bookshelf!

If you like historical fictions and lots of battle scenes this is the book for you! I loved it! I can't read a book without an epic battle in it and Ghost fire is non-stop battles! Wilbur Smith is extremly talented and knowledgable. I don't really like Constance because she feels like the only way for her to get what she wants is to sleep with men and manipulate them, continuously allowing herself to be mistreated and abused. Theo lives for revenge! He starts out wanting to revenge his parents deaths, then what he thought was Constance's death, then the death of his first wife Mgeso and their unborn child. Moving from India to America he battles his way to victory fighting against the French, making friends and enemies along the way and finally getting the revenge he so desperatly craved! Smith is a masterful storyteller!
