This is a big old NOPE from me. This author is gross. The sexualization of a literal child was deeply disturbing. Even more disturbing was that the way the paragraph was framed it seemed like the girl's brother was sexualizing her. The synopsis also seems like most of Connie's "journey" is going to be about her being sexually assaulted. There was also a gross moment where the parents discuss being cousins? If I read that right at least. There also seemed to be some really racist undertones when discussing the Indian people present.
