This books starts with siblings Theo and Constance up to mischief at a neighbor's house but both the nature of the party they're intruding upon and the writing feel awkward. It doesn't provide much of a jumping off point to match the synopsis of the book - but like other Wilbur Smith previews, it doesn't really matter much.
