I absolutely adore historical novels. This book hooked me from the beginning a story set in India during the British colonial era during the 1700’s. I want to know more about the background of the child’s stories. The setting of the story too with India’s rich cultural history it would be interesting to learn how that would affect the children and what influence it has over the story. The cover is so unique with the different blues and the elephant so i’m thinking the story might have magic. I would pick this book up based on the setting alone
