This story tears at my heart strings from the get go.Orphaned and left to fend for themselves the lives of 2 siblings go in very different directions. A brother who chooses a path of violence and a sister who endures it. Will they find a way back to each other and will they find happiness after so much violence and heartbreak? One will have to read this book to find out, but make sure you have a box of tissues near by.
