I bought Furyborn on impulse while book shopping a month ago. I decided I wanted to finish it before the end of December. It was so good! The alternate POV’s are not something that I usually enjoy, but I liked it in this story. Rielle and Eliana are living years apart, but going through similar trials as they come to terms with the power they possess. Eliana was my favorite, but Rielle’s story was super interesting too. They are both battling with their humanity and what it means to keep out the darkness. The romance in Eliana’s story is my favorite! I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. Warning, this book has some steam! So, if that isn’t your thing I wouldn’t skip this one. I do not know if I will keep reading the series because I have heard mixed reviews of the rest of the books, but this was a solid first book in a fun fantasy world with characters I definitely liked.
