I preordered Furyborn because of two things. One, because I adore the cover. (I mean seriously, have you seen it?) and Two, because I love the idea of two kick-butt women tied together throughout history, strong each in their own way and struggling in their own times. I LOVE THAT.
Furyborn is the story of two women, one a queen, one the descendant of a queen, who live about two thousand years apart. That part confused me a little, and when you read it, you'll understand why. The entire story has you hoping, and guessing, and thoroughly involved in what is happening. It's a long one, but it's so worth it, and I'm totally ready for the second book to be out, right now.
If you love high fantasies with love, and betrayal, and magic, and sass, you will love this book.
