I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down!
It follows the story of 2 women one thousand years apart, one being the blood queen and the other the sun queen, and Eliana's journey on discovering how both her and Queen Rielle are connected. It's full of flawed characters, loads of action, romance, assassins, adventure and MAGIC!
Simon Randell was also a favourite character of mine, he's so strong and also broken but cares deeply at the same time.
The book never got slow as every chapter flawlessly switches between them, but if I had to choose Rielle's would be my favourite story!
I highly recommend this book it you love YA/fantasy
