I loved this book. It is much deeper and well developed than your average YA fantasy. I have already purchased a copy for myself. The story builds anticipation throughout as it is entirely original and full of unexpected plot twists and structure. The characters are fully realized and drew my care and concern immediately. I love the cover. It is bold and bright. For YA covers are so important. Teens love to browse so I am pleased when I find a solid and interesting read with a beautiful cover. It means a student might actually check the book out which really for me is the point. Without the first sight interest from the cover, the book will not be read and will only take up shelf space. This book is perfect for lovers of fantasy!
