The biggest issue I have anytime I start a new fantasy novel is not being sucked in from page one because attention to detail hasn't been given to the worldbuilding aspect of the novel. That is clearly not going to be an issue with Furyborn. The book spans millennia, telling the intersecting story of two young women that are having to come to terms with who they are, their place in the world, and what they can do with the power they've been given. In just the few pages of the first look, they've already been developed as complex characters, with a fresh, fast paced plot that hints at the beginnings of a fantastic new trilogy. Very much looking forward to these books!
