Based on the description and the gorgeous cover, I thought for sure that this would be a book that I would immediately like. The plot sounds pretty unique in addition to the two female protagonists. However the writing style feels a little stilted or forced. It feels almost like this wasn't completely edited to smoothly flow.
I'd be willing to read more though, simply because the story is so engaging.
