Furyborn is a book I've been hearing a lot of buzz around and, just from the preview, I think this buzz is justified. I only hope the rest of the book keeps on the path that it's going. Already you can see the conflict between good and evil. We see characters doing seemingly bad things, but why? Are they really good? Just trying to survive? Then we see characters who's motivations might not be completely clear, so it's difficult to understand what side they're on. The first couple of chapters already make it clear that there's a story in the past that directly influences the story in the present, and I'm very interested to see how they intersect with one another. So far, I'm anxiously awaiting to find out what happens next.
