This book has been on my radar for a very long time, and I've heard lots of great things about it so I was super excited when I read the excerpt. It did not disappoint! The writing was beautiful, and it was clear the author knew her world very well. I was hooked from the start, and though it's a relatively short excerpt I already feel attached to the characters.
