I found the cover art to be striking and it attracted my attention. Despite the fact that the sample pages were many, I really did not get a feeling for the direction that the book was going to take. With two young women separated by one thousand years as the main characters, it will be a difficult task for the author to form a connection to make the book cohesive. I would be interested in seeing where Furyborn goes from here, as the possibilities for this fantasy are endless.
