So far I really dislike Eliana. At the end she says there’s no shame in surviving but it seems to me a person ought to be ashamed by surviving through murdering others. She’s not even doing it to save hundreds or thousand of people- just her brother and herself. And she gloats about her power and how good she is at what she does- ruthlessly killing those who stand against an Empire she seems to know is evil. The only redeeming aspect of her personality has been concern over the women being stolen. Meanwhile, I’m very interested in Rielle’s story.
