The beginning of the story caught my attention and I wanted to know more of what became of the infant Princess and young but powerful boy as well as Rielle's story . I am also curious about what's happened to the Empire in the course of a thousand years and why the women are being taken. My overall impression is that these two women may be several lifetimes apart but they will both have the power to change their worlds and are the Crux between whether they can save their people or doom them. My interest in this book has for sure been caught!
I really like the cover which catches my eye, looks amazing and seems to fit the theme of the book so far.
I want to keep reading because I want to know what happens, what their choices cause to happen and who will save their people. I love reading about books that involve magic, adventure and choices which this book seems to have plenty of!
