At first I was drawn to the cover and title. The colors are vibrant and the the black makes it glow. Then there was the synopsis. It's clearly a fantasy, which I love, but the element of time that's hinted in the stroy, both in the synopsis, and in the opening chapter, gives it a more alluring feature. It's unclear what's going on, but it's written in a way that makes the mystery and characters seem so very interesting. It makes me want to know how the queen became this way, how is Eliana important to the story? What's her connection? These questions drive me forward, eager to know what's going to happen next.
