Happy Publication Day! This book was a great insight into a mother's journey with her son who has autism. If you are not a follower of the author @findingcoopersvoice she goes much deeper than a surface level social media post to go into life with a son who has Autism. She goes through all sorts of scenarios and issues they experience, including navigating large crowds, meltdowns that Cooper has, even to how Cooper and her communicate (Cooper is non-verbal).
Many of the books I have read have been from the point of view of the individual with autism, so this was a first for me. Her book was honest and tender, very appreciated. You can tell how much she loves her son in every page of the book.
I would recommend this book to anyone who has a friend or loved ones with autism. April is Autism awareness month and the perfect time to release this book.
