What a wonderful book. Such an honest, look into the life of a mother who is fighting for her son. It was beautifully written and showed that each day spent loving someone with special needs is a beautiful new day with new lessons to learn, and while there may be struggles there is also lots of beauty to find. As a teacher's aide of children with special needs I felt that reading this gave me a glimpse of what a parent feels and goes through both when leaving their child in my care and at home.
I am grateful for this book and for the lessons and love Kate shares with us. Please know even if you have no experience with a special needs child you will still find relatable situations within this book. I highly recommend it for any mother.
