I really enjoyed reading this book! I thought that the author did an amazing job of being honest about the challenges of being a parent with a special needs child. She was also really honest when speaking about how being a parent of a special needs child affected her marriage as well as her relationship with other parents who didn't share the same struggles that she faced as a mother. I also liked how she made sure to detail how she and her family was able to heal and how she found joy. The strong message of love and hope is what makes this book such an amazing read. I personally got super emotional while reading this book. I am not one to typically go for emotional books or to cry while reading but this one was an exception for both cases. I absolutely loved reading this book and it helped me learn a lot more about autism. I also think the cover is so sweet!
