This memoir promises to be insightful, interesting and heartbreaking. I love how it promises an unflinching look at how difficult it can be to raise a child with a severe disability, but also at how wonderful it can be. The cover also centers their mother/son bond which perfectly encapsulates the point of this book and Kate's entire story which is powerful and beautiful in equal measure.
