Let me be the first and the loudest to say that I love being a mother—my children are my world and raising them is the most fulfilling thing I’ve done. But I hate “mommy bloggers” and women who use their children for their own personal platform and gain just rub me the wrong way. Sure, I suppose this is supposed to be an inspirational memoir (a genre I dislike to begin with), but it’s not one I would seek out or choose to pick up if I were browsing, and this excerpt did nothing to change that.
