Starting from more technical aspects, many memoirs I’ve come across have a very conversational style like they could be excerpts from somebody’s blog or journal. The writing style here is definitely on a higher tier and well-edited. Now delving into the subject matter, this sample just doesn’t seem very interesting and I’m not sure how well it’s subject matter is going to be handled if people with autism happen to read it. Something about the book’s headline on the cover rubs me the wrong way. This sample also ends very abruptly, before I could even form much of an opinion of what this book might be like.
