Ugh this synopsis is rife with ableism. " She hadn’t signed up for life as a mother raising a child with a disability." Yes, yes you did. When you decide to become a parent that means you are signing up for a disabled kid, a trans kid, a queer kid or any other type of marginalization. If you cannot handle life as a parent to any of those kids, you should not become a parent. It's pretty fucking simple. If you will not 100% support your child on being who they are, do everyone a favor and don't become a parent. I had high hopes for this one before reading the synopsis, but now I will not touch this fucking steaming pile of shit with a 20 foot pole. Keep your ableism and your white woman feminism away from me!
