As a twenty-something without any children, this made my heart warm with motherly love. You could feel every emotion the author felt from naivety to being in love to devastation and loss. I think this would be exceptionally good for any mother who has the shared experience of bringing a disabled child to life.
This isnt slow paced by any means which I enjoy. It's very interesting to read about a life path that I myself could possibly have and the strength of the Mother will give you strength in whatever your current struggle with babies and family may be.
