It's hard to find anything involving autism that's not drug through pseudoscience and falsehoods. I do like that this is a memoir and not a "treatment/ do what I do" manual but it does come off slightly preachy. However it might completely change when you get to the second act. At its root it sounds like a great story about the love a mother has for her son and I'll give that premise a try any day.
