This book seems to be a well-written memoir that will be very moving and helpful to a specific audience. I’m not particularly drawn to the topic at this moment in my life. The First Read didn’t grab me as “just read it, you’ll like it,” although I do enjoy stories of people overcoming and growing from challenges.
