I could not be more different than this author. I've never wanted kids while she dreamed of becoming a mother from an early age. That being said, she writes with such clarity and openness, it's easy to empathize with her and want to read her story. I like that she starts early in her story, at the point where she meets her husband, rather than jumping in to her journey with her son which is the point of the book.
