While I admire this author for her work spreading awareness of autism and educating people about it, I found this book to be difficult for me to relate to. I do not have children, and I do not plan to have children, so from the get-go where she says her one dream was to become a mother, I knew this was probably not for me. However, I think her story can help others immensely.
