Wow!!! This book was a crazy ride! Daunis Firekeeper is a beautiful 18 year old girl getting ready for college and a new bright adventure. When tragedy strikes and she is brought into an FBI investigation about the drugs that are stealing the lives of the people around her, she must make decisions she never dreamed of and starts to see things are not always as they appear. Who can she trust? Where can she turn?
This book is filled with lots of twists and turns, there are a few subjects within the story that may be triggering for some readers. There may also be some parts that will make you laugh, make you cry, make you feel for the main character and those around her. You will also learn about a culture that is not often found in books, but hopefully this book will be the first of many to highlight and recognize the people mentioned in this book.
