The first thing that caught my eye was the cover. It's is stunning and I had to know why they two faces appeared to be in the shape of a butterfly. After, reading the synopsis, I knew I had to read the excerpt. I absolutely love Native American culture and any story that I can find that involves the culture is a must. I am so glad that I stumbled across this first look. True crime is a huge favorite of mine and I love the developing story between Dauny and Jaime. I am very intrigued by the secret that lie waiting in the rest of the book. A lot of these coming of age stories are quite similar but this one seems to have a unique spin and I cant wait to see how it turns out. The characters seem to be well developed and you feel the genuine connection between Dauny and Jaime. And what a cliffhanger to end the excerpt on! I need to know what happens next! Who was shot?! Can't wait to grab this one and add it to the top of my TBR!
