There is so dang much I could say about this book-I probably can't condense my thoughts properly, so bear with me!

Quick Plot: Daunis is a biracial Ojibwe teen with a bright future who has dealt with plenty of recent tragedy, leaving her stuck in limbo trying to take care of her family before she goes to college. During this time, she helps out with the youth hockey team, meets a new guy that seems interested in her, and then witnesses a murder-suicide. This throws her into becoming an undercover investigator, which complicates everything in what she had thought was going to be a normal life. More mysterious deaths pop up while she and the FBI get closer to what might be the cause. It gets real twisty-turny by the end!

Thoughts: I love love loved it. The pace was awesome, the characters were interesting, and the surprises were fantastic. When I thought I had a good grip on what was going on, something changed. And honestly, the cover alone deserves an award!
