I fell in love with this book from the first page, and really struggled to put it down and do my day job. When I picked it up, I was in the mood for a mystery that would really surprise me, and this book did just that by being one of the most unique books I've read in a long time. Not only did this book keep me on the edge of my seat, but it also was educational since I have not read many books with Native teen main characters, and I found myself learning so much about a modern teen navigating the world while also trying to find ties to her culture.
Besides the absolutely astounding plot, the cover was to die for - it was colorful and bright and lovely, and the designer quite frankly deserves an award for it. I loved how the design uses only primary colors with the exception of the skin tones of the two faces at the top since the book really pops and is so stunning to photograph as well.
