This book contains a blend of several things I love: young adult fiction, thriller, and Native American culture. It doesn't hurt that the cover is really eye-catching and attractive. I knew from the start that as long as the writing was even halfway decent that this would be a book I would want to read. I wish I would have logged in early enough to claim a copy of this book for points!
I was amazed at how many pages are in the sample...over one-third of the book! Aside from the prologue, the story begins by building slowly. It doesn't jump straight into the action as one might expect from a YA thriller. My interest is definitely piqued, and if I don't win a copy, the sample pages will hold me over until I can purchase one :)
