The writing is beautiful. The character of Daunis is both a hero the reader can and will root for and a flawed human being making her believable. The story is slowly drawn out, showing the world where care has been taken with the world building. I could see everything as described, it was like I was living it right there alongside Daunis. It’s rich and wonderful. I can’t wait to read this book!
