While the writing is beautiful and I can’t wait to read on, my main first impression is that the cover is entirely stunning. A lot of YA covers often follow market trends and thus start to blend together — I love how this cover is bold and breaks down those expectations of what a YA cover is, while remaining true to the story inside at the same time. The cover artist truly captured the tone and beauty of the story in a way that seems very rare these days
