This is such a special book. I am so glad to see more Indigenous stories being told across all the genres. The fact that this is also a young adult book just makes it that much more special. Our main character, Daunis, feels torn between her two worlds: too white for her Native half, too Native for her white half. I think the feeling of being torn between two worlds you equally love is something every young adult can relate to. Steeped in Native culture and wrapped around a murder mystery, this story is going to be amazing! I also think the cover is absolutely stunning; it grabs your attention and makes you want to pick it up.
