What I liked about this is that there are two very distinct sides to the main character her Fontaine side, and her Firekeeper side. She has to be careful not to be a Firekeeper at times. Her birth was a scandal that has followed her throughout her life. She also has a Hockey World and Regular World and tries not to let them overlap. However, she meets Jamie the new Supes player, and things begin to change. I also liked the foreshadowing of the event with the gun, it really catches your interest, and then the story comes full-circle later in the book. The story is full of native rituals, language, and secrets, it really looks like a good one.
