WOW! This book seems to have it all...a Native protagonist whose traditions and lifestyle are not whitewashed or minimized, an upper Midwest setting (my home!), and a gripping plot. As a teacher of Native students who are dying for more representation of all tribes, I am thrilled to see confident and well-written books like these hitting the shelves. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy for the classroom library!
