An exciting, fast-paced read that explores the challenges of being a modern, Native teen

The premise of this book grabbed me immediately, and the writing is fast-paced and instantly engrossing. I really enjoyed There, There by Tommy Orange last year, and I like that this book similarly addresses the complexities of being young and Native in modern American society - trying to balance family, tradition, and culture with the pressures of being a typical American teenager. While I enjoyed the various alternating perspectives of There, There, I really like that this novel will follow a single main character and her journey and will perhaps allow for even better characterization. Excited to finish this one!
