This book was easy to start reading - I love that it takes place in the upper peninsula of Michigan (my home state!) Daunis is a character that is easily taken to - I love her story telling and getting to know her family in the first few chapters. The anticipation built as the chapters continued - you knew something was on the horizon but didn’t quite know what yet. I quickly added this to my TBR due to the summary alone but after the first couple of chapters, I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
