A young adult mystery featuring a diverse character- YES!

The cover is gorgeous- I love the colors and the style of the art. It makes me want to pick it up and dive into the words. Reading the description excited me. I’m a high school teacher and love this genre. I’m looking to expand my cultural knowledge and have a more diverse bookshelf- for me, my children, and my students. I love mysteries and this plot is so intriguing. I also love that a female character is taking on such a strong role in her community.
