I'll say it - Young Adult has gotten stale. Or maybe I'm not reading the right YA books (or MAYBE I'm just not a young adult anymore but that's not the point). Point is, it's rare to see something fresh and new in the genre that really catches my eye and this book does it from the outset. The cover alone is aesthetically pleasing, the writing is great, and the idea is so intricate and important. On my tbr now for sure.
